There was a time being thick with curves and the right amount of flesh in the right places was a thing for women.
But what’s in vogue now is losing weight, being a gym sis, and burning fat to be slim.
That doesn’t mean that there are no men who still like thick women, and that also doesn’t mean that thick women have ceased to exist.
Please note that this write-up does not favor or condemn any body type or size.
Every woman has her unique body stature and looks perfect the way she is.
In the same vein, the fact that some men like thick women doesn’t make men with other preferences bad.
Everyone’s choices are valid.
But in this article, our focus will be on why men like thick women.
I’ve seen quite a number of men who have clearly made it known that they prefer thick women.
Last I checked, I’m still very much a woman, and as such, I can’t tell why men like thick women.
So, I engaged some of my male folks.

1. They look well-fed
Some men prefer for their women to look very well-fed and cared for.
They take pride in it.
Being able to afford good food is a luxury that’s not easily accessible to many people.
I heard the story of a young man who broke up with his girlfriend for the flimsiest reason.
Please wait for it.
He said that the lady was too slim, and no matter how much money he spent on her, it wouldn’t show on her body.
He argued that he wanted to marry a woman whose body would reflect how well she was being cared for in terms of adding weight.
He’s not the only man on this table.
Here in Africa, many men have the mentality that their wives should be thick.
To them, a woman’s thickness is a testament to how well she eats and is generally cared for.
2. They’re confident in their own skin
Most of the thick women I know literally ooze self-confidence.
They’re comfortable in their bodies and do not want to change anything about it.
I mean, who wouldn’t love a body that has the right amount of flesh and curves in the right places?
They’re natural eye candies who don’t need to do too much to be noticed.
They don’t even have to be drop-dead gorgeous facially.
Whatever they lack in facial beauty has been made up for by their banging body.
They’re well aware of the well-sculpted magic that’s their body, which is why they carry themselves with so much grace and confidence.
Some men can’t seem to look away from such, which explains why thick women are hot cakes for such men.
3. They’re naturally soft
Men generally want to be the hard and strong ones in relationships.
On the other hand, women are meant to be soft, and it comes naturally to thick women.
Their bodies are plump and soft, with the right curves and amount of flesh in the right places, but they’re also soft in most areas.
Everything about them screams ‘ soft, ‘ from how they talk, act, and walk to how they carry themselves.
This softness portrays a woman who doesn’t like stress and doesn’t want to be stressed in life.
She wants to sit back and be cared for by her man.
4. They’re great cuddle buddies
You’ll think your pillow is doing a good job of being your cuddle buddy till you cuddle with a thick woman.
OMG!
Their bodies are natural pillows that just pull you in when you want to cuddle.
During your cuddle sessions, you’ll also have enough flesh to squeeze and snuggle into.
I can tell you for free that cuddling up with a thick woman without any sexual undertone is, in itself, a big form of intimacy and bonding.
Men who like thick women will give anything to continue experiencing such cuddles for the rest of their lives.

Thick women tend to rock most outfits well because they fill them out in a way that suits them more.
It even gets better when they wear clothes that accentuate their curves and direct all the attention to their assets.

Having thick legs, full breasts, well rounded butts, wide hips and a little tummy fat is the ideal portrayal of what a woman should look like from way back.

That picture has been perpetually etched in the minds of people that some men do not want their women to come in any other form.
The moment such a man sees a thick woman, the first thing that comes to his mind is, ‘here comes a real woman. ‘
He will give anything to get the attention of a thick woman.
7. Their hugs are comforting and snuggly
Have you ever hugged a thick woman?
If you have, you’ll agree that their hugs are comforting and snuggly.
Your gender has nothing to do with the quality of their hugs because both men and women feel the same way after being hugged by thick women.
I already mentioned that they are soft naturally.
The softness of their bodies has a way of drawing you in and making you relax into the hug.
If you’re having a bad day, I’m pretty sure that a hug from a thick woman will help make you feel better.
Men naturally have so many struggles and burdens.
As such, some of them won’t mind having someone whose hug can make them feel less burdened than they truly are, even if it’s for some time.
One reason men like thick women is that they give some of the most comforting and snuggly hugs.

Many men like to date women who are younger than them.
With an obviously round face and well moisturized skin that naturally comes with being thick, such women usually appear younger than their real ages.
A thick woman doesn’t need any facial enhancement engineering to glow or look more youthful.
It’s already built into her body type.
She won’t have to buy moisturizing creams that smooth out or conceal wrinkles and fine lines, either.
This is because she has skin that’s naturally plump and refreshing.
What a good way to save some money!
Please note that I’m not referring to obese people here.
There’s a thin line between being thick and obese, which is why moderation is important.
Being obese is unhealthy and should be avoided at all costs, no matter how good it makes one appear because the downsides in the long run can be very damning.
9. They’re effortlessly attractive
If you’ve seen a thick woman in all her glory, you’ll readily agree with me that such women are effortlessly attractive.
Like I mentioned earlier, they don’t need to do too much to attract attention to themselves.
Their bodies are built to complement different types of clothes, so they slay effortlessly in any outfit they choose to wear.
Imagine a thick, tall woman casually strolling into a venue with the confidence of a hundred people.
Picture the approving and wishful stares from people.
Now, take a moment to imagine that you’re her man and you appreciate her body stature.
How will you feel if your lady’s presence garners such a reaction?
Pride and bliss?
Those feelings are not out of place.
One of the reasons men like thick women is because they’re effortlessly attractive.
I mean, look at that banging body and carriage.
If she also got a pretty face, it’s a big plus.
